Rules
The tournament follows current IFF and SZFB rules. Exclusions in category B10 are replaced by shootouts under SZFB rules for the younger categories. B10 games use smaller goals. Fields are about 22x11 m in B10 and 40x20 m in B12/B14. B10 uses 3+1; B12 and B14 use 5+1. Only teams that register on time and pay the entry fee may participate. If demand is high, teams will be chosen based on the order of fee payment. Capacity is limited.
Age groups and dates
B10 - boys - years of birth 2015 až 2018

Exceptions
There are no age-based exemptions permitted at the tournament. Teams that violate this rule will be disqualified from the tournament with no entitlement to a refund of any paid fees (tournament entry, ID wristbands, accommodation, meals, T-shirts, etc.). An “exception” refers to a player older than the birth year stated for the respective age category.
Match Schedule
The match schedule will be published on www.bfo.sk in the ROZPIS section, no later than 15 January 2026. The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the match schedule. In such cases, all team managers affected by the change will be informed in a timely manner.
Referees
Each match is officiated by two referees with a valid SZFB or ČFBU license. In the case of foreign referees, the license of the relevant national floorball association applies.
Tournament game system
The game system will be completed after the tournament registration deadline. We expect a group stage and play-off matches, min. 5 matches per team.

B10 2x12min, break 1 min
B12 a B14 2x15min, break 1min
Timeouts are allowed only in playoff games.

Players and teams rosters
The maximum number of players and goalkeepers on a team roster is 18 and 2 coaches. Each player may represent only one team in a given category. An unlimited number of girls may play for boys. Each player must wear a BFO 2026 identification bracelet (ID) on their wrist throughout the tournament. Roster lists must be submitted before the first match during team registration.
Awards
Original medals and cups will be prepared for the first three teams in each category, prizes from sponsors and a consolation prize for the 4th teams. In the case of play-off B, only the winner will be awarded.
Identity check
The organizers reserve the right to request an identity check and verification of the player's age at any time during the tournament. Each player should have a document available for possible identity check. Only players registered under the relevant floorball association in the given country and playing for the given club can participate in the BFO tournament.
Red card
If a red card (RC) is issued by the referee in a tournament, the following will occur:
-Technical penalty (TP) - Higher penalty (2 + 2 min.) replaced by two separate shots in B10 + exclusion for the rest of the match, taking into account the seriousness, the tournament JURY may decide on a suspension for further matches.
Team manager
The person appointed as the team leader is responsible for the entire team throughout the tournament, both on and off the field during the match. The team leader is contacted by the organizers in case of any changes, problems or other circumstances. The team leader must be over 18 years of age.
Protests
The team leader has the right to file a protest against a gross violation of the rules or regulations of the tournament. In the event of a protest against the match result or the referees' decision, the referees and the organizers present must be notified immediately after the match. The protest in writing must be submitted without undue delay (within 25 minutes of the end of the disputed match) to a member of the BFO Jury (see below). In the event that no member of the Jury is present, the protest can be submitted to any member of the BFO organizational team, but the Jury member must be notified at the same time (contacts below). It is necessary to state all arguments and describe the situation and problem in detail. The protest fee is €40, which is refunded if the protest is accepted. If the protest is rejected, the fee is forfeited. The Jury's decision is final and cannot be appealed.

Contempt
A match is forfeited in the following cases:
The team does not show up for the match (within 5 minutes of the scheduled start of the match).
The team does not have at least 3+1 / 5+1 players before the start of the match.
The team is eliminated from the tournament. The forfeit result is 5:0 by default. However, a different result may be chosen by the organizers if it is a deliberate tactic with regard to the progression position before the play-offs.
Safety
The BFO Jury reserves the right to intervene in case of inappropriate behavior of players (teams), parents or fans and the team may be excluded from the tournament. Good behavior is required of all teams, as well as all fans and supporters. Players are advised to wear protective glasses during all matches. Protective glasses are not mandatory due to different regulations of national floorball associations.
Insurance
Each team leader is responsible for their own insurance for their players and their team's property on and off the field. Participants participate at their own risk. The BFO organizers are not responsible for any injury, illness or loss during the tournament. Medical personnel will be available on site.
Important notices
If the team leader cancels their team after 10.1.2026, they waive the right to a refund of the entry fee. If the team had accommodation arranged in cooperation with the BFO, they lose the right to a full refund of the accommodation fee. Lunch fees will be refunded in full if the cancellation occurs before 1.2.2026.
Selection teams consisting of players from multiple clubs are not allowed to participate in the tournament. BFO reserves the right to allow only club teams playing official floorball competitions and registered under the national floorball association to participate in the tournament.
The organiser reserves the right to assess and accept or reject the team application. We do not accept "B" teams from the same clubs for the tournament.
